Can’t believe I didn’t do this on past trips. Beats local SIMs by a mile. Used in Portugal, Spain and France.
It worked. To make it even easier, I turned off the pin on the sim via my phone's settings. This meant I did not need to re-enter the pin every time my phone changed carriers or reconnected.
It was great to have an European mobile number to be able to set-up ride-share apps like Bolt.
I had the 20GB 4G Lte Data in Europe sim.
